
FUSION Geo-Market Direct Mailers (GMDM)
The main prospecting tool for FUSION Partners is the customizable Geo-Market Direct Mail (GMDM) program.
The GMDM is a mail piece, customized by the VAR at the FUSION Partners portal. VARs can pick from a variety of GMDM templates designed for specific solutions or campaigns. Within 10 minutes, the VAR can customize the template to reflect their company’s core compencies, print out a PDF-file proof, and approve or redesign the GMDM. All GMDM templates include logos and hardware images from the vendors supporting each campaign.
After the VAR has designed the GMDM they can select the targeted prospects the GMDM is to be sent to by selecting a vertical market by SIC Code, or supplying their own contact list. Then they select the metro market they sell into, from a list of 180 metro markets in the US and 50 metro markets in Canada.
FUSION prints and mails the GMDMs to the target prospects on behalf of the VAR. Two days before the GMDMs are mailed out, the contact information for all the prospects is loaded into the VAR’s prospectreactor.com account. The VAR can start a callout campaign to the same prospect list, at the same time as the mail campaign. The VARs can also contract FUSION’s FUSION telemarketing group to perform the call out campaign to their prospects. (Pricing is available by request).
End-user prospects can contact the VAR via a Personalized URL (PURL) which includes the contact’s full name. FUSION hosts a PURL for every prospect who receives a mail piece. The PURL takes the prospect to a landing page which contains the VAR’s contact information, a link to their website, and information about all components of the solution including software, hardware, services, and even leasing opportunities. As soon as the end-user types the PURL into their browser, an e-mail notification is sent to the VAR alerting them to call the prospect that is currently visiting their landing page. This information is also loaded into the VAR’s prospectreactor account.
End-user prospects may also call the 800 number on the GMDM to contact the VAR. FUSION provides an 800 number for the VAR, which rings directly into the VAR’s company phone. These special numbers allow FUSION to record all the calls from the GMDM. Calls are recorded because many prospects call after business hours, or do not leave messages when prompted to so by automatic phone answering systems. Most prospects call from their cell phones, not their place of business. Any new contact information for the prospect including the cell number is passed on to the VAR via their prospectreactor.com account.
